At Nurture, we take professional development seriously. We offer paid training before providing any services to ensure you are not only competent in the service delivery method, but also have the knowledge and understanding of what we do. Job Description:
As a Behavior Therapist, you will provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our program focuses on addressing skills that increase sociability, communication, and decrease challenging behaviors. You will work directly with the Behavior Analyst on the case who will provide you with an individualized treatment plan for your client. The Behavior Analyst will ensure you are trained and competent in all interventions and utilizing the most appropriate ABA techniques. Expectations of our Behavior Therapist include:
- Maintaining professional behavior
- Maintaining engagement with clients during therapy sessions
- Completing daily progress notes on client progress
- Collecting data throughout therapy sessions
- Utilizing interventions provided by the Behavior Analyst
- Receptive to feedback and instructions
- Ability to work with children ages 2-8
- Ability to manage maladaptive behaviors
- Must be creative and energetic
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Reliable Transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing ABA therapy
- Current RBT Credential or in progress
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Experience using electronic data collection

Assistant Behavior Analyst

Job Description:
It is the responsibility of the BCaBA to work under the supervision of a BCBA and conduct various descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments and skill-based assessments. Provide behavior analytic interpretations of the results and designs comprehensive ABA treatment plans based off of evidence-based practices and behavior analytic research literature. The BCaBA provides training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians, and other responsible parties tasked with the implementation of behavior analytic interventions. The BCaBA then supervises and monitors treatment progress of a client through data-based progress monitoring. The BCaBA also provides training to parents/guardians and other responsible parties for the client. The BCaBA will also provide direct implementation of ABA therapy. Expectations of our Assistant Behavior Analyst include:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- BACB Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Experience conducting VBMAPP and ABLLS-R assessments
- Minimum of 2 years working with children, adults, and adolescents with various developmental disabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing supervision of Behavior Technicians
- Experience creating and modifying Behavior Intervention Plans and Treatment Plans
- 1 year experience as a BCaBA
